The Wind Touches Thee
Rhyme and Time
In the sea. Pink petals. Why you go away? Leaving your pink in the waterway. Underneath the water turning almost blue. Pink in the water. The stillness of you. Never did go, Said the petals, Reply. The blue and the pink. So suddenly shy. Addressing their reticence. I spoke to the blue. Have you ever loved a rose? For rose time is true. Where would you go, I thought immediately to find? These roses of pleasure. Floating along rhyme and time. (Sing) Petals on top. The entelechy of nature. Twice a reflection. Blue and her pink. For to savor. Copyright © Susy Kamber

Stillness
I kept myself still in the forest, Listening. The rustle of a thousand leaves, Moving. The wind carried their sounds to me. In the happenstance way their branches held them. Everything attached to something else. The lingering smell of bark and grass as if rubbed together. Heady I am inside. Thinking to become a tree or a leaf. Kept still in the forest, So still I stayed. When it came time to leave I never really did. For I am wet leaves in a black sea now. Floating amongst the waves. The Wind Touches Thee
There is a turquoise cloud inside every star every wind. The annals of everything always set to begin. My friends playing songs of reverie so true, Their vision of stars and wind becomes blu. Nascent beings are watching, All sisters and friends. To see us as gentle moments sitting together again. Our songs sung together in lyrical stance. The rhymes land in motions. Cascading upon branch. So too the mountains and rivers agree. Inside every star blows a wind touching thee. Like a petal in motion. The moment that rhymes. The essence of which creates meaning from time.
