Ghost Flowers
Seeking Absolvement
The poetic reality, the awareness of light against dark or dark against light, the symbolism of this antagonism, the absorption of a trust that exists within. We all wait in our own confused states seeking absolvement, on lines alone, or in crowds. Sanctuaries or dreams, the places we enter to make known our needs. Rhyme and Time
In the sea. Pink petals. Why you go away? Leaving your pink in the waterway. Underneath the water turning almost blue. Pink in the water. The stillness of you. Never did go, Said the petals, Reply. The blue and the pink. So suddenly shy. Addressing their reticence. I spoke to the blue. Have you ever loved a rose? For rose time is true. Where would you go, I thought immediately to find? These roses of pleasure. Floating along rhyme and time. (Sing) Petals on top. The entelechy of nature. Twice a reflection. Blue and her pink. For to savor. Copyright © Susy Kamber

Ghost Flowers
The sun gave me flowers. Planted in a basket. Delicate and filled to the top. Ghost flowers awakened. Bringing colors of delight. “Splendid,” admires the sun. All kinds of flowers. Bell shaped and patterned as butterflies with white breaths and burnished bursts of opened seed. Sunlight touches flower light. So that I can see. Copyright © Susy Kamber
