Kisses to Touch
Reshaping the Words
This brailled coat of darkened earth composed of long tinders of letters holds a message. The circular edges had been pulled apart in each word, angled now almost into a river bound for a shore. Maybe even splintered I gathered from this overhead view. All the earth I had ever wandered past always held a message. A code of sorts to behold, wrapped up to feel and translate into something meant to be understood. What had happened here was a mystery to unfold. Every part a textual interpretation of a landscape escaping. From what I wondered. Quietly she told her story, the breeze reshaping the words as I listened. Rising and reborn for the future I heard them say. To the river to purge themselves, to begin a new message of hope. Copyright © Susy Kamber

Peace Colors
How beautifully nature moves itself in natural forms of change. We too can emulate this exquisite expression with others. The rain falls as singular droplets into waterways formed by each of them into larger wholes. USo we too are singular and in meeting with and joining others we become larger wholes. There exists much in the ways of this joining together that can facilitate peace. In a sense, togetherness whether existing in a given bouquet of flowers, oceans housing each part of life within, the forest ecosystem in growth and regeneration or the breeze of people in collaboration, this uniting force of change speaks peace in a world so desperately in need. These changes we need to recognize we can learn to accomplish together. And I who touched the flower spoke its heart. My eyes elongated. Seeing them reminds me I’ve seen yours. Around the bend or through the sides of the walkway. Gathering the words of expression. The skylight and all scents therein. Laying close from earth to heaven’s alignment again. For all songs come the night. And all flowers to touch. The daytime. Kisses to Touch
The shade’s intuition for yang meets me somewhere. Aloft upon a mountain side or field beginning to shine. Restfully it settles. Wrapping shapes and sides around a fondness. Of something to hold. Perchance sweet touches in still water form reflective lips the branches drink from slowly. So much so the rapid bursts of waves turn soft around me. Caressed into an opened watery gaze simple to share. My paint brush in languid swirls with not a drop wasted addressing the canvas. As I weave the blending of this moment into branches. Presenting kisses to touch the water. Copyright © Susy Kamber
