The Girl With Much Grace
Underwater sand castle and I. Turns over as one big wave pushes me to the shore. Water bubbles and white foam on top. Salty water and laughter inside. A mixture ripening into the ocean air. So that’s what I did, too. Took a deep breath of that mellowing substance. All the giggles and saltiness bringing me smiles. Sea birds in conversation overhead. Close enough to hear their beach babble as they sang, “Green wind ocean/Blue breeze sky/Blown to the north/By and by/Soft as a feather/Touching her face/Her wings are in motion/The girl with much grace.” Standing up the sunshine plays on my skin so that I am now. A mixture of sand and light. My toes barely wet on the warm sand. It’s enough to beckon me to build another. So that when all the waves push me back through. I can return to the sand castle with you. The Brown Earth and His Blu Wind
The earth singing in some silent way. An ode to a long melody created from the wind’s breath on leaves. Cascading swirls amidst the gravel of footsteps. Touching the warmth of our brown earth. Listeners want more of those delightful sounds I suppose, so they wrap themselves up and follow each other holding hands. More and more hands become held as the sweet melody of earth and wind proposes the magic of dance within it. Twosomes gain recognition twirled in closeness. The melodic sounds rich with voice. This now an ode to a journey never meant to be spent alone. The brown earth and his blu wind are together. Copyright - Susy Kamber All rights reserved
