The Red Earth
Sunlight Into Flower Light
The sun gave me flowers. Planted in a basket. Delicate and filled to the top. Ghosts flowers awakened. Bringing colors of delight. “Splendid,” admires the sun. All kinds of flowers. Bell shaped and patterned as butterflies with white breaths and burnished bursts of opened seed. Sunlight into flower light. So that I can see. Copyright S. Kamber

Swirls and Imagined Ecstasy
I think you blink. The way Monet thought about it or the man from the mountains. Much more so than just those brief cleansing moments our eyelids rhythmically engage. No, these are more substantive. They bring the dark closer. The inner elements of our nature that allow our dreams to see a new light born. The colors closeted so much so they becomes a dance of swirls and imagined ecstasy. Within that long blink of a time your eyes see themselves. The clock ever so slightly resting. So much so that the surface of Monet’s pond contains a new reflection. The mountains breathe air from far away. The sky become a mist of sounds. The birds are carriers of this joy. I think the rain has a part to play. All this and something else I suppose. Copyright S. The Red Earth
the red earth changed me. turned me into a feeling of warmth. that red earth place opened up its walls. into a condensed ocean. sky blue above it. the birds playing games with the clouds. while they turn themselves into puffy white castles. so the birds can sing inside. the air filled with breaths of majestic opulence like flowers coming out of one’s mouth. blooming the essence of gold song. the rhythm an intersection of ideas tumbling into me. as dance steps. as lines becoming colors. drawing trees...their flowers. people...their homes. words as poetry. red like the earth.
