Touch Me
Sculpture Garden
An assembly of cotton candy clouds, a dispersed rainbow with water in a basin of time, all one needed to see heaven he thought, driving along a long country road. As he pulled over and rolled down his window he opened his eyes to the sight of something for the very first time. It was as lovely to him as a ripe dream, the kind you make up inside you and meet. The kind that when you awaken you remember all the details because somehow it really had occurred. The kind that beckoned his smile. Heaven isn’t as far away as he once thought gazing forward. Oh that day was one sight to see along the roadway. Taking in a deep breath he left the window rolled down, a moment or two longer. Getting out it was a whole new sensation for him. Walking along the side of the road he felt a sense of nostalgia that left him standing there wondering why. He kicked a few stones along the side of the road, picked one up and left it in his pocket for another day. The stone a way to remember it was all a matter of being in the moment. He closed his eyes and when he opened them the car drove off and all that he saw went with him. A Rainbow
Green favors and a nosegay of flowers met in a corner of the garden. Past the gate and almost in the shade save for a sunny patch of golden light. The flowers seemed quite ready given the tremendous accolades from their green friend. They felt such delight together feeling the real and unreal touches around them. I think the sky became turquoise with clouds and dreams appeared under their eyes that night. Copyright - Susy Kamber All rights reserved Song Selection - She’s A Rainbow - The Rolling Stones

Touch Me
Touch me in ways the flowers touch. By their scent, their beauty, the way they blow in the wind. Touch me. Be the attitude of the flowers who grace the world naturally. Without eyes to see what they bring. Without a way to smell what they share. Without a notion of their beauty. Touch me.
