Woven Places
A woven depiction of sky and trees, many that came and passed by me. They held me steady, I wanted to fly. Between some golden threads nearby. Such dreams depict a swooping bird who now makes haste to feel his birth. The joy uplifts, a refrain becomes, a mix of earth and heaven song. Sing says the bird, flight with his wings. They now have touched what lies within. It opens far and separates, to feel the scar of what it takes. A man has thus to contemplate what woven dreams around create. S. Kamber

Return to Light
Looking inward I saw the darkened envelopment of searing emptiness, it seemed enormous in scope. Opening my eyes the visible weather was identical to how I felt. Dark and dreary lays the times on us. It will though change as the clouds pass, the sunshine emerges and leaves become turned again into shades of green. This I know. Will I too be lifted, a returned hope for life as I knew it? Pray my soul to be restored as my closed eyes see the beginnings of light. S. Kamber

Vision
Trying to see through many things. Opened eyes are following. Sayers of dreams and nights despair. Which to choose. In each is fear. Undo the message that laces life. Lay down and breathe on this tonight. Awaken then to morning dew. The salient stir of life in view. I gather plants and dress their blooms. For those with fallen sorrow. Above their heads are dreams they said. For us, for all. Tomorrow. S. Kamber
