The Red Earth
the red earth changed me. turned me into a feeling of warmth. that red earth place opened up its walls. into a condensed ocean. sky blue above it. the birds playing games with the clouds. while they turn themselves into puffy white castles. for the birds to sing inside. the air filled with breaths of majestic opulence like flowers coming out of one’s mouth. blooming the essence of gold song. the rhythm an intersection of ideas tumbling into me. as dance steps. as lines becoming colors. drawing trees...their flowers. people...their homes. words as poetry. red like the earth. © Susy Kamber

Rhyme and Time
In the sea pink petals. Why you go away? Leaving your pink in the waterway. Under neath the water. Turning almost blue. pink in the water. The stillness of you. Never did go, Said the petals, Reply. The blue and the pink. So suddenly shy. Addressing their reticence. I spoke to the blue. Have you ever loved a rose? For rose time is true. Where would you go, Immediately to find? These roses of pleasure. Floating along rhyme and time. (Sing) Petals on top. The entelechy of nature. Twice a reflection. Blue and her pink. For to savor.
